EMERGENCIES

If using Rover, please update the profile with the Vet and ER contact or include info on a piece of paper. If using my system, please complete your profile.

Urgent Issues
I'll call you so please answer and then will follow the contact order below. Ex. seizures or bad case of happy tail.

Contact Order
1. You. You will be notified first to get feedback on next steps. I'll share what I have to assist.
2. 2nd Parent. If you are unreachable, and it's urgent, I will then try the second owner on file.
3. ER Contact. I will then attempt to reach your ER contact.
4. Your Vet. In the event your ER contact is unreachable, or unsure, I will contact your vet.
5. My Contacts. In the event your vet is closed, I will contact my vet, my personal dog connections in the industry, or take your dog to the closest ER.

For absolute urgent needs, I may head straight to the ER and call you on the way. Ex: seizures, or unresponsive dog.

Non Urgent Issues
If it is non-urgent, I'll text you & wait. Ex. pup threw up or has diarrhea.

I will wait for a period of time for you to get back to me, and then I will attempt measures that I know to generally work. I may administer pumpkin for digestion or boiled chicken/rice (unless you've noted an allergy). I might try chicken, beef or bone broth. I may apply Lavengel to cuts and bandage wounds. I may administer other supplements to assist.
